Our privacy promise

HeyItsDue is built to help you remember bills, expiry dates, receipts, documents and meetings without making your private life public. We collect and store only what is needed to provide reminders, account access, cloud backup, app security and crash diagnostics.

Information you add

• Bills, amounts, categories, due dates, paid status and reminder preferences.
• Vault items such as expiry dates, categories, receipt or document images you choose to attach.
• Profile details such as name, email, phone and optional preferences.
• Device calendar events or Google Calendar events only when you explicitly connect them. Calendar details are kept locally on your device and are not uploaded to Firebase.

How your data is protected

• Local app data is stored in encrypted Hive storage where supported by the app setup.
• Cloud data is linked to your Firebase account and should be protected by Firestore and Storage security rules.
• Vault images are uploaded only when you attach them and cloud backup is available.
• App Lock can protect the app using your device PIN, fingerprint, face unlock or passcode.

Diagnostics and reliability

HeyItsDue uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify crashes and serious errors. Crash reports may include device model, operating system version, app version and technical logs. We do not intentionally log bill titles, document contents, calendar descriptions or sensitive financial details to Crashlytics.

Subscriptions, free limits and ads

HeyItsDue may offer a free trial, a limited free plan, paid subscriptions and in-app ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store. Free-plan users may see ads after the trial period. Ad and purchase providers may process technical identifiers needed to deliver ads, purchases, fraud prevention and subscription status.

Your control

• You can disconnect device calendar or Google Calendar access from Profile settings.
• You can clear local cache from this phone.
• You can delete your account and cloud data from Privacy & Security.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as HeyItsDue grows. Any important privacy changes should be reflected in the app, Play Store listing and hosted privacy policy.
